Gainesville City Baptist Rescue Mission

The Gainesville City Baptist Rescue Mission has served the homeless and addicted of Northeast Georgia for many years.  The GCBRM can accommodate up to 25 men and has a chapel which seats up to 80.  Residents are fed, housed, counseled and enjoy nightly chapel services in which area pastors do the preaching.  On Sunday mornings the men attend Oakwood Baptist Church where they hear Pastor Brian Evans preach and have a chance to be a part of the church family.  On Fridays the men attend our addiction recovery class called Reformers Unanimous.  

Residency Details

1.Every man gets the first 7 days free of charge.

2.After 7 days there is a weekly tuition of $42.00 which must be paid in advance.

3.Tuition includes a bed, bathroom privileges, hygiene items, breakfast, and supper.

4.Residents must leave the property no later than 7:00 a.m. each day and may return no sooner than 6:00 p.m.

5.Residents are required to attend the nightly chapel services.

6.Residents may not bring tobacco in any form into the building.

7.Residents who appear intoxicated will be escorted from the building.

8.Residents must show respect for the Director and other staff at all times.

9.Aggression of any kind will not be tolerated.

10.Personal items are subject to being searched at any time at the discretion of the Director or other staff.

11.Residents will be required to do chores and other menial duties as requested by the staff.

12.Any resident who the staff deems to be a negative influence on the harmony of the mission will be escorted from the building.
