The Cardaropoli home where Oakwood Baptist Church began holding services.

Martin Elementary School where we met for 2 ½ years.

God has given us a wonderful facility on our 10 acre campus.

A Brief History of Oakwood Baptist Church

Oakwood Baptist Church held its' first service on Father's Day, June 17, 2001 with 32 people attending.  Initially, the church met in the home of Mr. & Mrs. John Cardaropoli of Braselton, but soon relocated to Martin Elementary School in Flowery Branch.  After being in the school for about a year the church purchased 10 acres of prime real estate across the street from the school and began construction on our current facility.
